Since 2021, the company “Prohouse” has been growing industrial hemp. Hemp or Cannabis sativa is a type of plant that is grown exclusively for industrial purposes.Thousands of products made from hemp exist nowadays, including construction materials, food, paper, medicine, oil, and so on. This fast-growing crop does not require herbicides or pesticides on the farming process which impacts the planet in a positive way and is helping to create a cleaner and greener place to live in.
According to Montenegrin legislation, the cultivation of hemp up to 0.2% THC in the plant is allowed. We decided to grow clones from Futura 75 seeds. The farm is located in the Municipality of Spuž. In the first year the cultivation was on an area of 1 ha, while the following year we expanded the production to several hectares. We processed the biomass into CBD oil in Osijek, Croatia in cooperation with the company
